The Wendy’s Senior Skins Game was held at the Wailea Gold Course yesterday under gorgeous conditions. The event has become a popular draw for Maui residents and off island visitors as it gives you a chance to watch some of Golf’s greatest legends in a spectacular setting. The beautiful Gold Course is nestled along the base of Haleakala with spectacular views of the Pacific, Kahoolawe, Molokini and Lanai. Lava outcrops, native grasses and trees combined with remnants of prehistoric rock walls give the course a beautiful but rugged feel. It is only appropriate that a true legend would shine in this setting. That legend was none other than Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus won the event racking up an impressive 11 skins. Craig Stadler was second with 5 and Tom Watson was third with 2. Check out ESPN.com for additional news on this great Wailea Golf Event.
