There are two opportunities to help the Paia Youth and Cultural Center tomorrow. The first opportunity is for those that would like to beautify the shoreline near the Youth Center. Kids from the Youth Center and local volunteers will work together on a beach cleanup between Baldwin Beach Park and PYCC. This community work day sponsored by the Humbol Company starts at 8:00 AM at Baldwin Beach Park and runs until 11:00AM. There will be a lunch for volunteers at the Youth Center at 11:00 AM.
The Studio Maui will be hosting a Yoga Aid US challenge. Yoga Aid is a national event where participants raise moneys for local charities. Under the instruction and guidance of some of Maui’s leading yoga instructors, participants can pledge or collect charity pledges for doing a series of yoga poses. The Studio Maui has chosen the Paia Youth and Cultural Center as the beneficiary of Maui’s Yoga Aid US challenge! Participants should arrive at 8:45 for a 9:00 start date.
