Waiale Development Plan

A & B is in the process of presenting a conceptual development plan for Waiale, a major development planned for the outskirts of Kahului. The company has been actively seeking community input in the development of plans for the community. A series of 4 community input sessions helped create the conceptual community plan which currently features six residential villages, two schools, a 190-acre regional park, commercial centers, a health-and-wellness complex, and long stretches of greenways and bikeways to promote walkable communities. The plan is still incorporating additional feedback from a session from last Saturday. The overall conceptual plan will be presented to the public on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the East West Trading Company near IHOP in Kahului. A and B has been lauded by many for incorporating community input into the development. The community is still in the early process of going through approvals.
