The Maui County Council will be holding discussions on the Wailea 670 development. The development is named after the 670 acre parcel of land that it would occupy. The development would include approximately 1,400 residential units an 18 hole golf course and a village with commercial space. This project has actually been reviewed in the 1990s and the application was approved in 2001, but no action was taken. There will be a meeting on the project open to the public at 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Lokelani Intermediate School Cafeteria. For more information, check out today’s Maui News.
